Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a focus on East Asian Studies from Boston University and a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. She continues her advanced education toward a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree.
