UI Hospitals and Clinics Department of Surgery is a university hospital in Iowa City, IA. It operates as part of the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, which is the only LCME-accredited allopathic medical school in the state. The college has served as the sole allopathic medical school in Iowa for more than 150 years.
