Towne Lake Academy

Towne Lake Academy is a preschool in Woodstock, GA, serving children from infancy through age twelve. The academy was founded by the Bray family, who began their connection with the school when their daughter Simmie attended as a student. In 2015, Sammie and Latresse Bray purchased the two campuses, continuing a legacy of family involvement and community focus. The team includes staff with long-term dedication, such as Renee Singley, who has served as a Georgia Pre-K assistant teacher for 15 years, and Simmie McFadden, the Executive Director, who has been with the academy since 1994. The staff is committed to supporting children’s development and maintaining strong partnerships with families.

The facility features residential-style buildings designed to meet or exceed safety and fire code standards, with controlled access, panic hardware, fire sprinklers, and glass partitions for visibility. Playgrounds are age-separated and equipped with artificial turf and updated equipment to minimize injury risks. The layout supports effective monitoring and hands-on management, with extended hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
