Little Vine Vineyards & Winery is a winery in Villa Rica, GA, specializing in handcrafted wines made from grape varieties native to the region. Located at 665 N Hulett Rd, the winery focuses on reviving a historical tradition of wine production in West Central Georgia, where vineyards once thrived before Prohibition. The estate cultivates Norton, LeNoir, Blanc du Bois, Villard Blanc, and Herbemont grapes, producing a range of dry, off-dry, and sweet wines, including notable offerings like Red Dirt Road, Maddie’s Rosé, and Three L’s. The winery emphasizes community involvement, with planting and harvest events involving friends, neighbors, and local church groups. It is the first winery constructed in the area in over a century and the first to plant commercial wine grapes in West Central Georgia since 1907.

The winery’s founding began in 2010 with soil preparation, followed by the planting of the first 700 Norton and 700 LeNoir vines in March 2011. A second planting in 2012 added Blanc du Bois, Villard Blanc, and Herbemont vines. The first harvest occurred in 2013, yielding approximately 9.5 tons of grapes, marking the realization of a long-standing vision. By 2014, harvest yields reached 20 tons, reflecting the growing success of the vineyard. The wines are crafted to reflect the region’s heritage, with names honoring family members and local history. The estate offers tastings and local delivery, emphasizing the connection between land, labor, and the final product.
