Vidalia Heritage Academy

Vidalia Heritage Academy is a preschool in Vidalia, GA, serving students from preschool through 12th grade on East 1st Street. It is a private, fully-accredited school built on a Christ-centered foundation, offering academics, athletics, and the arts as part of a college preparatory program. The school began in 1998 with 48 students and five teachers in grades kindergarten through fourth, meeting in the former First Baptist Church Education Center in downtown Vidalia. It expanded to include preschool through 12th grade during 2012 and 2013, with the upper school grades moving to a separate building on East Second Street. In 2016, the school purchased the former Vidalia Recreation Department facilities and built the VHA Athletic Complex, which supports the school's team and individual sports offerings.

The school holds dual accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) through Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Daily Bible classes and weekly chapel are part of the curriculum, and all academic disciplines are taught through a biblical worldview. Programs include small class sizes, a challenging curriculum, extracurricular activities, and arts programming that encourages students to explore their gifts. The school also participates in the Georgia Promise Scholarship program. VHA's mission is to equip students spiritually, intellectually, and physically to love God and serve as Christ's ambassadors in the world. Prospective students are welcome to shadow a current student and visit classrooms in action.
