He has served on legislative committees of Georgia Bar Association sections to update the Georgia Trust Code, help enact the Georgia Power of Attorney Act and update the Georgia LLC laws. In 2014 he was elected a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a group whose membership is offered to those who have contributed substantially to trusts and estates law. He has chaired or served on professional advisory committees of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Jewish Family & Career Services, the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta and the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta.
