Wang Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic is an acupuncturist in Mountain Park, GA. The clinic provides acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatments. Services include body acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and scraping therapy (Gua Sha). The practice also offers Chinese herbal medicine consultations, prescribing, and dispensing of herbal formulas, including granulated herbal extracts and patent herbal medicines.

The clinic is founded by David Wang, who earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in China, receiving formal education and training in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. He is nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and has over 40 years of clinical experience, which includes 10 years as a physician in China. Before relocating to the United States in 1995, he served as a senior attending physician at Guang An Men Hospital in Beijing. Since moving to the U.S., he has served as Academic Dean and Clinic Director at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from 1995 to 2000. From 2001 to 2005, he served as Dean of Oriental Medicine at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, where he designed and established Ohio’s first professional master’s degree program in acupuncture. Since 2005, he has worked at The Ohio State University Center for Integrative Health, where he played a key role in establishing the acupuncture program and has taught medical students, residents, and fellows in integrative medicine programs.
