Founded by Phil Nordan, the vineyard grew from a farm with grape vines cultivated for over half a century. In 1999 Nordan built an adult treehouse called “Date Night,” perched 30 feet above the vines and equipped with a ceiling fan, seating, and a porch that overlooks the vineyard, a pond, and sunset views. After adding a lower‑level treehouse for his daughter, the family opened the property to the public. Planting began in 2004, and the first vines were set in spring 2005, now encompassing eight muscadine varieties that thrive organically in the region. The winery’s portfolio includes muscadine and viniferous wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, a Chardonnay‑Sauvignon Blanc‑Pinot Gris blend, Riesling, and several semi‑sweet blends.
