Horned Owl Brewing

Horned Owl Brewing is a brewery in Kennesaw, Georgia. Its taproom serves the surrounding community with a place to enjoy a pint with family and friends, and it holds a rating of 4.60. Joe Uhl founded the brewery after years working in the restaurant and beer industries, with the goal of a local tasting room rather than broad distribution, so that the people and restaurants around it would be the focus. The name comes from the meaning of the family's German last name, Uhl. Joe Uhl has more than 46 years of senior management experience in the restaurant industry, including multi-unit management and operations roles across a variety of U.S. markets, and his interest in craft beer began over 15 years ago.

The 6,931 square-foot taproom sits in Downtown Kennesaw, in the heart of the entertainment district. It features an outdoor patio, bar games, and music, and the brewery hosts private events and parties in the space. Beer is available direct from the tap and in to-go cans, with online ordering offered. The taproom is open Tuesday through Thursday from 3pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 9pm, and is closed on Mondays.

The brewery is located at 2765 South Main Street, near South Main Street Northwest and South Main Street. It is a short distance from the Balancing Birds public artwork, Depot Park, the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park, and Gateway Park, all within about two-tenths of a mile.
