Charlie is an Alabama native and Auburn graduate whose Southern family recipes form the backbone of the company, while Jim brings 25 years of experience in the Atlanta restaurant industry. Both men take an active role in the business, and anything that goes out has to pass their quality inspection. They can be found in their signature pink aprons at trade shows, meeting customers and telling their stories.

Their products are preservative-free, dye-free, natural, and sourced from the United States. The range includes garlic dill pickles, gourmet jalapeno pickles, sweet gourmet pickles, sweet heat jalapenos, smokin' okra, spiced watermelon pickles, honey cinnamon beets, perfectly pickled peaches, and sweet onion and peach relish, along with 4-jar variety packs such as Entertaining Classics, Pickled Pink Faves, and Taste of the South. Pickled Pink also offers branded merchandise, including an apron and a cap.

A portion of the company's profits goes to the Felines & Canines Hunter Stephenson Rescue Center in Alabama, an ASPCA award-winning animal shelter that rescues between 75 and 125 homeless dogs and cats each week from overwhelmed shelters across Northern Alabama. Each animal receives physical, medical, and emotional care to prepare it for adoption, and three times per week the animals are relocated to adoption centers across the Midwest and East Coast.
