The estate features five secluded event spaces, including an air-conditioned barn, a courtyard with artificial turf and a koi pond, a forested area beneath live oak trees, a 2.7-acre vineyard, and scenic lake views, all set within manicured grounds with orchid nurseries and olive trees. Designed with an Italian rustic influence, the venue hosts only one event per day, ensuring privacy and personalized service. The estate was originally conceived as a private retreat by June and Tom, who named it Mision Lago, Spanish for “lake house”, reflecting their vision of a Spanish Mission-style home by the water. What began as a personal sanctuary for gardening and family moments evolved into a wedding venue after their son Rhett’s wedding was held on the property. The barn, initially built as a horse stable for their son David’s horses, was transformed into a spacious event space with hand-carved tables, antler chandeliers, and climate control. The property’s design emphasizes natural beauty and craftsmanship, with Sycamore trees, bistro lights, and a tumbling waterfall enhancing the ambiance.
