The business has a history dating back to 1953 when the space started as a bowling alley. Over the years, the 16,304-square-foot building has served various purposes, including a skating rink in the 1990s and a pool hall called Legends in 1994. In 1998, co-owners James "Corky" Herritt and Javier Torrealday purchased the venue. They restored the bowling lanes while maintaining the retro aesthetic of the original structure. Herritt and Torrealday had previously met while playing professional jai alai at the Tampa Jai Alai Fronton, a venue that closed in 1998. The owners operated the bowling alley for 22 years before deciding to sell the business to focus on family matters. The venue remained open during the pandemic, closing for a couple of months in 2020 before resuming operations.
