Western Ballet

Western Ballet is a dance studio in Mountain View, CA. The studio provides a variety of programs, including a Youth Program for ages 3 to 18 and an Open Program featuring daily classes ranging from Absolute Beginners II to Intermediate levels. Serving the broader Bay Area, the studio offers in-person, online, and hybrid learning options.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Western Ballet is dedicated to making classical ballet education and performances accessible and affordable to the general public, including underrepresented organizations and low-income families. Founded in 1976 by Richard Gibson, the institution has a long history of excellence in the Silicon Valley area. The studio offers the largest selection of adult ballet classes on the San Francisco Peninsula and provides specialized scholarship and financial aid programs, such as the Nina Novak Ballet Scholarships, to support families in need.

The studio is located on Rengstorff Ave, near Wyandotte Park and The Little Park. It is situated a short drive from the Bayshore Freeway.
