The ranch's history is a multi-generational family legacy that began in 1972 as a Thoroughbred breeding operation founded by Mary Ann Butterworth. Following the leadership of Matt and Barbara Butterworth, the property has evolved from a working horse ranch into a creative haven for photography and hospitality. Today, the third generation continues this legacy through the operation of the photography studio and the conservation of the Kiger horse breed. In addition to photography sessions, the ranch provides vintage event rentals, including a curated collection of distinctive pieces such as elegant arches, vintage settees, and peacock chairs.

Located on W Hwy 12, the ranch is situated about a mile from Lafayette School and a short drive from Kingdon Airpark.
