Rock City Climbing

Rock City Climbing is a rock climbing training center in Huntington Beach, CA. Serving as Orange County's original home for indoor rock climbing, the facility provides a fun, safe, and family-oriented environment for all skill levels, from first-time climbers to master senders. The gym operates as a community of climbers and holds a 5.00 rating.

The training center is dedicated to performance and elite climbers, featuring specialized equipment such as a 24’ x 12’ adjustable spray wall, a 24’ x 14’ World Cup wall, a 24’ x 14’ multi-purpose skills wall, a 32’ wide custom slab wall, and a 12’ x 12’ Tension Board 2. For younger athletes, the Development Team offers a structured program for U11-U15 athletes and select older climbers. This program provides direct coaching from staff, including multi-time national champion and elite national team member Cruz Padilla, and includes two in-person training sessions each week along with four days of climbing and training programming. Additionally, the Rock City Climbing Team serves as a competitive youth climbing development team based in Southern California, primarily competing in USA Climbing’s Division 3 across Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, and Southern Utah.
