The brewery began in 2013 as the Litchfield Taproom in historic Litchfield Park, where founders Matthew and Kristina Frosch started crafting small-batch beers and experimenting with barrel aging. In 2015, they expanded to their current Peoria location, launching Peoria Artisan Brewery and Gastropub with a focus on in-house brewing and scratch kitchen cuisine. The space, expanded in 2019, now seats about 65 indoors and 80 on the patio, with an indoor-outdoor bar featuring a garage door that opens to Arizona’s outdoor climate. The brewery maintains 20 taps, including a non-alcoholic root beer, and offers growler fills, canned beer, and online gift cards. The team emphasizes local sourcing, creative brewing, and community connection through events and a VIP club.
