Community of Hope Health Clinic

Community of Hope Health Clinic is a medical clinic in Pelham, Alabama. Serving as a Volunteers in Medicine health clinic, it provides care for uninsured Shelby County residents who are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and do not have access to private insurance or government benefits, such as Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits.

The clinic operates as a medical mission and has been serving the community since 2008. Originally established to utilize facilities from the Shelby County Health Department, the organization transitioned to an appointment-based primary care model in 2012. The clinic's services have expanded over the years to include physical therapy, as well as mental health services through both medicine and counseling.

The clinic is located on Chandalar Office Park Circle, near Pelham Parkway and a short distance from Carroll Park and the YMCA.

The Community of Hope Health Clinic is recognized for its commitment to quality care, having earned a 2026 Gold Rating from the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics Quality Standards Program. The clinic remains a vital resource for the local area, providing essential medical services to those in need throughout Shelby County.
