As a third-generation TCM practitioner, Dr. Nan has a family legacy that includes seven Chinese medical doctors currently practicing in China and the U.S. He was trained by his uncle, Dr. Jingzhen Nan, a professor and co-founder of the Acupuncture Institute at Heilongjiang University, and his aunt, Dr. Xuehua Wang, a nationally recognized doctor and professor at the same institution. With 35 years of experience, Dr. Nan has treated tens of thousands of patients. He also has 35 years of teaching experience, having educated thousands of acupuncturists in China and the U.S. through TCM schools and seminars. After teaching for four years at Heilongjiang University, he moved to the United States in 1992 to teach at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and founded Nan’s Acupuncture Clinic in Denver, Colorado, in 1993.
